Oil refineries of Notre-Dame-de-Gravenchon, Eure, France.

Before the 30s, Notre-Dame-de-Gravenchon was an agricultural village. In 1933, Esso and Mobil-Oil created two refineries that would change the landscape. They would also build estates to house the workers, as well as schools, a cinema, and even sewers, since the city couldn't afford it.
